PORK NACHOS & LEMONADE - JUNE 2020
On June 11, in conjunction with Junkfest in the park, Oakes PTO members served pulled pork nachos and the kids served up some tasty lemonade. In just a couple of hours, this fundraiser brought in nearly $1200!
PIZZA FUNDRAISER - MAY 2020
A super successful fundraiser! Orders for Badlands Pizzas were taken for a number of weeks in May. With an initial goal of selling 250 pizzas we were hoping to raise just under $700; however, the people of Oakes and surrounding areas blew out expectations out of the water, ordering an incredible 958 pizzas bringing in approximately $2,800! Thank you to all those that purchased delicious Badlands Pizzas!
DRIVE IN MOVIE - MAY 2020
Another Drive-In Movie was organized to help raise funds for the Turf the Playground Project and provide a (safe and socially distanced) night out during the COVID-19 Pandemic. We posted a poll to determine which movie would be watched. By popular vote, Grease was the movie of choice! Thank you to all those that came out for a night at the PTO Drive-in!
DRIVE IN MOVIE - APRIL 2020
During the COVID-19 pandemic, a drive in movie was organized to get people out of their house, but stay in their cars. A generous donor (anonymous) came forward with a challenge to match funds up to $2,500 until May 15. The movie brought in $2,039 and we exceeded the goal from online donations!
CHILI FEED - SEPTEMBER 2019
As a kickoff to the first home football game of the 2019 season, a chili fundraiser was held. Matching funds were generously provided by BankNorth, FCCU and Starion Bank.
